Take Charge of Your Body: A Weekend of Practical + Educational Workshops, London

For anyone who has a body!


£135 (£120 early bird until 26th January) for the whole weekend or book individual parts.

This weekend of workshops is for anyone who wants to learn more about their fascinating body, increase their mobility, reduce musculature tension and feel connected and energised. 

Each workshop will be roughly 90 minutes of practice and 90 minutes lecture/discussion. There will be loads of really practical, up to date and useful information to come away with that will have an empowering impact on your body and the way you use it everyday. 

There will be a copy of the practices available for everyone so that you can continue to explore these at home. 

Saturday 9th Feb, 10.00am - 1.00pm

Lower Limb Grounding + Growing

In this workshop you will:


- Learn to love your feet, develop toe dexterity and build your arches
- Stabilise your ankles
- Release calf tension and tightness
- Understand what locking the knee actually is and learn how to avoid this (if that’s your choice)
- Increase the mobility of your hips for a lifelong practice
- Explore how we are each totally unique in our physical architecture

Saturday 9th Feb, 2.00pm - 5.00pm

Upper Limb Strength + Stability

In this workshop you will:


- Increase your shoulder girdle mobility to reduce neck tension
- Increase shoulder joint mobility to reduce pain
- Understand what locking the elbow actually is and learn how to avoid this (if that’s your choice)
- Explore why wrist pain is so common and how to remedy this

Sunday 10th Feb, 1.00pm - 4.00pm

Spinal Freedom + Fluidity

In this workshop you will: 


- Look at the sacro-iliac joint and moving the pelvis as a whole
- Demystify chronic lower back pain
- Learn about our discs and why they can’t actually slip!
- Create more mobility in your thoracic spine
- Learn how to support the neck during inversions


The workshops fulfil CPD requirements for Yoga Alliance.
